Blockchain technology has entered in its second decade of official existence, and it caused quite a stir in the past several years. First decade of its existence was mostly marked by it’s first successful application – bitcoin and its huge price growth, volatility and decline. But thanks to efforts of thousands of blockchain developers, we now have a large variety of different blockchain platforms that serve different purposes, and focus is now slowly shifting towards industrial use of the technology as it is starting to show signs of maturity.
This presentation will delve into details of blockchain’s ability to improve the IT service management industry, and what could its implementation potentially bring, and how good or bad can it be, and in what ratio? Nikola Korbar is CEO of Center for Economic Research Belgrade and cryptocurrency and blockchain professional with 3 years of experience in this area. His main areas of work are education, consulting and blockchain project development and currently works on two separate blockchain projects.
